  2. Gayatri Mantra is basically invocation of Aum to establish itself in our intellect as pure, unadulterated frequency to lead us and guide us in life and hereafter. All our mantra start from Aum not because they have to invoke God but because they highlight either our desires or needs which we want to be fulfilled with the help of Aum, the God.

  3. Aum is not just the name of God or an abbreviation for God but IT IS GOD! Man has three bodies- the gross physical body which we see and has five organs of sensation( skin, eyes, ears, nose and tongue) and five organs of action ( hands, feet, speech, organs of excretion, procreation); secondly the subtle astral body which consists of mind, intellect, ego and chitta) and thirdly the causal body I.e. our soul. In Gayatri Mantra Aum is invoked to permeate all the three bodies and guide them appropriately especially our intellect which guides us and takes us out of delusion by Gyan Yoga way.
